Shane has experience working as a professional music therapist providing in-home services to children with developmental disabilities. He is nationally board certified through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.

His clinical approach is influenced by the work of Creative Music Therapists. Shane comes to Infinity with a wealth of information on the applications of music therapy with a variety of special needs and developmental disabilities.

Shane’s primary instrument is saxophone which he utilizes in his clinical work as well as guitar, piano, and world percussion. He is very active in advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and is a member of the American Music Therapy Association.

What brought Shane to Music Therapy?

“I believe wholeheartedly in the concept of music as a vehicle for positive change in people’s lives. Harnessing the power of music to encourage positive growth and self discovery is an incredibly satisfying way to serve one’s community.”
