Professional Supervision (for Music Therapists)
Are you feeling isolated or alone in your clinical practice? Are you looking for new ideas? Infinity is excited to extend one of the perks of being a member of our team to you! We believe that no music therapist should feel alone in their work and we believe in collaboration to help share and develop new ideas through the sharing of songs and resources. During our supervision appointments, we strive to help music therapists improve their clinical practice and achieve realistic goals in order to deepen and expand their scope of practice. We frequently present on the local and national level regarding the therapeutic applications of music and based upon your focus area of study, we can point you in the direction of the most appropriate member of our team. Supervision is available by phone, skype, or in person. We close out each supervision appointment with concrete action steps to help you have an organized list of what to do next to put theory into practice.
**We offer package deals for employers looking to provide their employees with benefits. We offer group and individual supervision and can write custom quotes based upon your individual or business needs. **

Did you know supervision may be eligible for CMTEs?
The Certification Board for Music Therapists allows for Mentored Self-Study to serve as continuing education toward the continued certification of music therapists. Mentored self-study requires several audit materials including a joint written plan outlining learning objectives, paragraphs outlining effectiveness of the course of study, and documentation of dates of study. A final evaluation is completed at the conclusion of the course. Mentored self-study has variable CMTEs based upon the amount of work completed. Our team will help you with completing the necessary paperwork required in case of an audit.
